[birdky] BKY: Lots of Warblers

Yesterday Beckham Bird Club had a field trip on the Riverwalk in Shawnee Park
in western Jefferson County. With the cool weather the migrants had arrived.
We totaled 56 species including 15 species of warblers. Listed below are
some of the highlights of our trip.
Cooper's Hawk - 2
Red-shouldered Hawk -2
R-t Hummingbird - several
Red-headed Woodpecker - 4
E. Pewee - several
House Wren - 2
Veery - 1
Swainson Thrush - 3 or 4
Cedar Waxwing - 20+
White-eyed Vireo - 3
Red-eyed Vireo - 2 +
Warbling Vireo - 2
Warblers -
Blue-wg - 1
Golden-wg - 3 or 4
Tennessee - 3
Parula 1
Chestnut-sided - numerous
Magnolia - 5
Cape May Warbler - 1
Yel-thr. -1
Prairie - 1
Blk-and-wh. - 3
Redstart - numerous
Ovenbird - 1
Mourning - 1
Common Yellowthroat - 3
Wilson's - 2
Summer Tanager - 1
Scarlet Tanager - 2
Rose-br. Grosbeak - 8
