One of our biologists (Charlie Logston) reported seeing several blue-winged
teal (100+) on the ponds at Addinton WMA in Knott/Breathitt counties.

The comment period for the TVA lake level study ended yesterday. KDFWR is
advocating staying with the base case (use current draw down regime).
Extending the summer pool has negative consequences for shorebirds,
waterfowl and wetland habitat. I will keep you posted on how things develop.
