The recent rains in my section of Ky has brought out the birds but
they are not easier to see, what with all the leaves on the trees.
And by the time I get outside with my binoculars they have flitted
away.

However, the Summer Tanager hung around for two or three days,
a female which alerted me with its call of ki-ti-tuck. It also
enjoyed the poke berries outside my kitchen window.
