If anyone has nothing to do today and you have any communication towers
nearby . . . it was kind of a strange morning here in central KY with some
locally distributed ground fog combined with extensive areas of low and
mid-level cloud cover.  It might have been the type of fall night that
results in some songbird mortality at towers.  Hopefully it wasn't a bad
night for them, but I suspect there are a few warblers lying dead under
towers today.  I am going to try to get by two TV towers at Lexington at
lunch just to see.
