[birdky] Blood River Bonanza

Do we have shorebirds!!!  I spent the day sitting on the mud flat at Blood 
River.  For the first few hours I watched 6 graceful young Buff-breasted 
Sandpipers.  They called and took flight to join a larger group and by the 
end of the day there were 18 Buff-breasted Sandpipers surrounding my scope.  
This is the largest number of this species I've seen on any of the mud flats.
Other birds of interest were 4 Sanderlings, Baird's Sandpipers (either the 
same one kept showing up or there were 2).  The usual expected shorebirds 
were also around in numbers.  Too bad Wood Duck season starts tomorrow.
