Thanks to Bob Foppe of Cincinnati who forwarded this message from the
Cincinnati Birds message board. I guess someone should try to check it
out!!!

August 13, 2007: I was wondering if anyone had info on where I could
report a rare Kentucky bird sighting... I was at Grayson Lake state
park, near Huntington, W.Va., where I ran into a spoonbill over the
weekend. It was not in an easy place to get to. I had kayaked nearly 3
miles back in the lake where the immature bird was napping on a dead
tree. I thought it would make a nice state record. Grayson lake is a
beautiful cliff lined lake for anyone with a boat. Maybe the bird is
related to our old Rocky Fork spoonbills and got word on how great life
in the north is!!!
