Kayaking was the best way to see shorebirds today at Jonathan Creek 
(Ky. Lake) as lake levels covered all mudflats except scant areas 
around cypress trees.  Hap and I drug our boats through lovely mud to 
access some areas.

Solitary sandpipers 4
Lesser yellowlegs 4
Spotted sandpipers 5
Killdeer 58
Stilt sandpiper 1
Black tern 2
Forster's tern 59
Caspian tern 1
Little blue heron 1 (immature)
