A few warblers were moving through the yard as I went out this morning.
Canada 1
Chestnut-sided 2
Black-and-white 1
While walking my neighbors farm yesterday I happened to meet him going in as I was leaving. He told
me he had been seeing a pair of owls in his barn and had seen them sitting snuggled up together like
love birds. He invited me to look for them. I checked the barn this morning and found a Barn Owl
sitting up high on the rafters.
While walking his field road I counted 158 Orb Weavers (spiders) in approx. 300' of fence line.
Certainly the most I had ever seen.
Birding smiles. . . . .
