Today was my last "day of freedom" as I have to start school  
tomorrow.  I watched the weather and thought today would be a good  
day for the fish hatchery.....and it was.

I had one good bird (Stilt Sandpiper)......two if you count finally  
meeting Fred Busroe.

The following is what I got from Pond #30 during the day:
Stilt Sandpiper (1)
Lesser Yellowlegs (4 by the late afternoon)
Greater Yellowlegs (1)
Semipalmated Plover (2)
Semipalmated Sandpiper (10)
Least Sandpiper (10)
Spotted Sandpiper (2)
Solitary Sandpiper (3)
Killdeer (Many)
Pectoral Sandpipers (10)

Wilson's Snipe (1 - Pond #50)

The numbers changed throughout the day so I've shown the most that I  
found.   Several other ponds had some shorebirds such as Least or  
Pectorals.   I don't know if the numbers that changed during the day  
were from those shifting ponds or new ones coming/older one going.   
In addition to the shorebirds the herons and egrets also fed from  
Pond #30.  It must be newly drained as they were all getting fish and  
crayfish galore.
