My brother who lives in east Muhlenberg county, about 10 miles from Lake Malone, had a hugh amount of hummingbirds at his feeders Friday, after the rain on Thursday. They observed around 50 birds at one time. Hopefully the picture will come through showing 21 birds around two feeders. There have 4 feeders out, the birds are consuming more than 100 ounces of sugar water per day. The noise from the birds around the feeders are so loud they can hardly hear the school bus in the mornings.
