[birdky] Radar roost rings

I have not thought to check radar sites for summer roost rings lately, but a
number are now showing up well. These are visible on the National Weather
Service web sites for individual cities (several cover Kentucky including
Paducah; Evansville, IN; Louisville; Wilmington, OH; Jackson; Ft. Campbell, TN;
etc.). Once on the NWS site for an individual city, click on the radar link
then either the base or composite loop for reflectivity. You have to get on by
about 7:30 EDT/6:30 CDT or the rings have broken up.

Here are some I noted this morning; most are in the same location as last fall.
It would be neat to figure out what these birds are; probably most are already
blackbirds/starlings, but some may be waders and/or purple martins. If anyone
goes to check out any of these roosts in your local area, please let us know
what you find!.
