This morning a juvenile Yellow Crown Night Heron came to rest on my turtle table.  He stayed so long that I was able to put the scope on him, but then I saw that he was injured.  He had a huge sore on the left leg and was missing two toes.  The leg was inflammed.  He stayed for a long time and then a Great blue drove him off. The birds were on reservoir #1 in Lexington, KY.
