The draw down of KY Lake has begun and the birds seem thrilled.  I've checked 
a few of the mud flats on Blood River and there are shorebirds wherever one 
looks.
Mostly Pectoral, Semipalmated, Least and Stilt Sandpiper.  Snowy and Great 
Egrets, Wood ducks, BW Teal, Caspian Terns and Ring-billed gulls are also 
relaxing on the recently exposed buffet table.
