Here are 3 pictures of the first bird I saw in Union
County Thursday as promised.  The wear in this bird is
not as extreme as the one photographed near Reelfoot
nor are the feathers wet, but it was the first one I
saw and displays a pretty typical amount of wear in
the head for (eastern) borealis Red-taileds in August.
