Aug 18th:  observed a single stilt sandpiper at beaver dam slough on BWMA.  
Also present were a few Least sandpipers, 200 Killdeer a Snowy Egret, several 
Little Blue herons and 2 adult Bald eagles.
August 19th:  Spent most of the morning on Island # 1.  Habitat is getting very 
good and will only get better in the coming days as the river is falling almost 
a foot a day.  Island # 1 is accessible and pools are present on all sides of 
the tree covered portion as well as several remaining pools well out on the 
sandbar.  Pools are also forming above and below all the rock jetties between 
Island #  and Laketon boat ramp.  The sandbar in front of Laketon boat ramp is 
accessible if you are willing to wade about 40 yards off of the end of the 
exposed jetty.  Present today were approximately: 
1 Semi plover
100 Killdeer
1Lesser yellowlegs
2 Spotted sp
5 Semi sp
200 Least sp
75 Pectoral sp
50 Least terns
several M. kites and 1 imm Bald eagle
