Well....now....I have to admit that I didn't have a great look. I
assumed (I know about you & me) it was a Sora. It looked like one, flew
up quickly just over the lillys and then after maybe 5 feet dropped
back into the lillys. But I didn't get a positive ID like the Moorhens.
I know in the Spring I have seen the Soras often in the Sloughs....but
never any other time.
So lets call it a probable Sora.
