[birdky] Common Moorhen @ Sloughs

This morning (8/3/03) in the Sloughs (Sauerheber unit) I saw 3 Common
Moorhens: 1 adult & 2 immatures. They were dabbling and walking around
the lilly pads, near where there is set up a blind and baited net area
for ducks.

First Common Moorhens I've seen outside of Florida.

Also 1 Sora in the lilly pads and about 50 to 80 Wood Ducks picking
through the baited area.

Charlie
