Kentucky Lake level is low enough to allow mud flats to be exposed in most
bays. A quick stop at Jonathan Creek in Marshall County this evening
produced the following highlights.
Great Egret
Snowy Egret
Cattle Egret
Green Heron
Black-crowned night Heron
Wood Duck
Semipalmated Plover
Lesser yellowlegs
Solitary Sandpiper
Spotted Sandpiper
Least Sandpiper
Pectoral Sandpiper
Ring-billed Gull
Caspian Tern
There were at least 35 Forster's Terns of all ages.
