[birdky] merlin in downtown Louisville

Unexpected treat this morning (Aug. 28) on the way to work. Saw what I first
thought was an odd-flying kestrel over spaghetti junction (where the
interstates meet) in downtown Louisville. The flight pattern made me keep
watching the bird (and the road sort of). Luckily it came close enough for a
brief but good look: a beautiful merlin.
