[birdky] white-throated sparrow?

Hi all,

I am 95% certain that today I saw a white-throated sparrow in suburban Lexi=
ngton. Typically, I didn't have my binoculars, but I was able to get with=
in 10 feet of it and the broad white stripe above the eye and the white t=
hroat were clear, despite it being a generally messy bird (in molt?). It =
was also behaving like WT sparrows do (if that makes any sense!).

Is this possible? I have never ever seen them around here until deep into t=
he fall/early winter.

Cheers
Ian
