When a pair of Carolina Wrens built a nest 32 inches off the ground in a
doorless metal cabinet in a small building in my back yard, I was sure
something would have their babies for supper and assumed that was what happened
when I recently found their nest empty. Then yesterday morning I saw several
Carolina Wrens on the garden fence.
