Following highlights were noted while kayaking the back embayment of Blood
River:
Canada Goose 84
Great Blue Heron 4
Great Egret 4
Little Blue Heron 2
Green Heron 4
Killdeer 58
Spotted Sandpiper 6
Solitary Sandpiper 3
Greater Yellowlegs 1
Lesser Yellowlegs 1
Least Sandpiper 3
Purple Martin - very few, the hundreds that were seen and photographed on
Saturday and Sunday have left the area.
