[birdky] RFI: Rose-breasted Grosbeak info from spring
- From: "Palmer-Ball, Brainard (EPPC OOS KNPC)" <Brainard.Palmer-Ball@xxxxxx>

I am currently compiling the spring 2007 report for The Kentucky
Warbler. I would like to hear from anyone who had more than 15-20 or so
Rose-breasteds coming to their feeders in late April and May. Also,
curious about early or late dates. If you posted to BIRDKY about your
birds, no need to repeat; I have that info.
Earliest grosbeaks posted about at feeders were from 22 April in
Calloway County (Kathy Cohen); Hart County (Bill Little) and Morgan
County (Doug Hennig).
Latest posted/reported birds were from 20 May in Pulaski County
(Roseanna Denton), 31 May in Henderson County (Charlie Crawford), and
3/4/5 June in Woodford County (Joe Lacefield).
Posted/reported peak counts:
20 last week April in Hart County (Steve Kistler)
32 on 7 May in Lincoln County (Jackie Elmore)
30-40 first weekend in May in Muhlenberg County (Susan Neace)
50+ during first week or so of May in Hart County (Bill Little)
Thanks,
BPB, Frankfort
