Can someone give me the recipe for hummingbird nectar? I'm remembering:
1/2c sugar to 1c water, bring to a boil, then take off heat and let cool,
store in closed jar in refrigerator.
I need to know if that's correct? also how often to change it out and how
long it keeps.
Thanks.

Bonnie,
I use 1 part sugar to 4 parts water, but I don't boil it. Once it's in the
hummingbird
feeder, it lasts anywhere from 4 days to a week, depending on the temperature
outdoors. I don't store any in the refrigerator, so I can't help you there.
