[birdky] "Brewster" warbler?

The rainy front which is moving through our area has brought out the
warblers. When Les and I were eating supper, I saw an interesting
warbler only about 20 feet away. Of course, I always have a pair of
binoculars close by. When I focused in on the warbler, I could see
yellow wing bars and a thin eye stripe on an otherwise rather plain
warbler. At first I thought that it might be an immature GOLDEN-WINGED
since I have seen them in the yard. I have never known of any GWWA
breeding here; however I have seen plenty of BLUE-WINGED WARBLERS
breeding here in the past. My only conclusion was that it must be a
hybrid, maybe a BREWSTER. Later I went out with my camera, but was
unable to locate it. Maybe tomorrow! We also saw an immature HOODED
WARBLER acting very much like a "finch", hanging around the ground
feeding area and rummaging in a large hanging feeder. Lots of insects
hang around the ground feeding area and feeders. The warbler eventually
picked insects off of tree leaves close by.
