Let the boys drive the truck around the refuge this morning and had some close
encounters with 3 baby coons and 1 red-eared slider. Birds of interest
include.
Great Egret 99 at lower beaver dam slough and a few others scattered on
Mitchell.
Killdeer 125 + at lower beaver dam slough (from the levee only /probably a lot
more I couldn't see)
Least tern 8 at Mitchell Lake and 6 on the Ohio 3 miles upstream from the
refuge.
