Shorebirds have arrived on Blood River.  This evening the following were seen 
on the exposed islands.
Little Blue Heron
Wood Ducks
Semipalmated Plover (2)
Killdeer
Greater Yellowlegs
Lesser Yellowlegs
Semipalmated Sandpiper
Least Sandpiper
Pectoral Sandpiper
Short-billed Dowitchers (3)
Twenty-nine Pectoral Sandpipers dropped in before sunset.  They took baths, 
preened
and the call came to continue their journey.  The Lesser Yellowlegs decided 
to go along but the Dowitchers chose to stay.
