Hap Chambers, Roseanna Denton, and I kayaked and birded the hot and steamy 
Peabody Wildlife Management Area today.  Noted birds were:

    Least Bitterns (6)
    Mississippi Kites (2)
    Tree Swallows
    Bank Swallows
    Purple Martins
    Least Sandpipers (7)
    Pectoral Sandpipers (12)
    Greater Yellowlegs
    Willow Flycatcher (1)
    Bell's Vireo (1)

We observed the  Scissor-tail Flycatcher nest at Barkley Dam on Lake 
Barkley.  It was visited once by one adult.  We were unable to discern 
whether there were eggs or young in the nest.

Thanks to Roseanna and Hap I got two life birds  (Bell's Vireo and Bank 
Swallow).
