Tom Durbin and I birded the Sloughs Wildlife
Management Area in Henderson County today with the
following highlights:
Mississippi Kite sub-adult at Hardy Slough
Yellow-crowned Night Heron 2 adults and a juv
Willow Flycatcher 2 with a singing male on territory
Approximately 25 Great Egrets
2 juvenile Bald Eagles at nest
Pied-billed Grebe
Pectoral Sandpiper (25-30)
Least Sandpiper (25-30)
Solitary Sandpiper (10)
Spotted Sandpiper (5)
Lesser Yellowlegs (3)
