My son, Bradford, plus Diane and I drove to western Kentucky today to look 
for the recent sighting of the Scissor-tailed Flycatchers below Lake Barkley 
dam. We were not disappointed. There were two flycatchers hawking for 
insects while using the tower nearest the restrooms as their lookout. They 
appeared to be male and female. We then drove to the nest site off Hwy. 453 
of the original pair and observed a male feeding a young bird on the east 
side of the highway. As we were leaving the area, Diane spotted what 
appeared to be an adult with a young bird along the south side of Interstate 
24. We had just merged on to the interstate from Hwy. 453.
