[birdky] Kuttawa Rookery

We paddled out to the Rookery across from Kuttawa Landing on Friday evening.
Cattle Egret and Black Crowned Night Heron nests and young dominated the
island. A few Little Blue Heron nests were also active. We saw one Snowy
Egret, several Great Egret, Great Blue Herons and a few Double Crested
Cormorants
in the trees. We could not tell if any of these birds had nests.
We also saw three American Coots that could fly and a little raft of mixed
ducks that seemed to be mostly Lesser Scaup, Black Duck and a few we couldn't
ID from the kayak.
