An outside salesman of the company I work for just told me of a
hummingbird he saw about 3 weeks ago at his home in LaGrange. He was
with in 5 foot of the bird and swears he wasn't drinking. It was
black with a yellow band around the throat and a smaller red band
below that. Anyone know of such a species that might be an escapee?
