14 or more Least terns were present at Mitchell lake yesterday afternoon. Most
were resting on the now exposed bar at the levee. My parents, who are camping
at Shelby Lake, stated that they have been seeing them feeding there as well.
Maybe there is a nearby sandbar that they can nest on this year.
