Rhonda and I took in 3 days of our family reunion at Carter Caves. I
didn't really spend much time birding, yet always birding. I had 67
species within the park, 13 warblers and Yellow Warbler at Grayson Lake
State Park Golf Course. I ran into a good number of Blue-winged Warblers
in a section of Tygart's (spelling?) State Forest that had been cut in
recent years. We easily saw 10 in 200 foot of trail. I also heard a
buzzing song that was not a Blue-winged or a Golden-winged either. I
never saw the songster.
