Frank has outlined a recent phone conversation he had with Steven, my son, 
and posted it it BIRDKY.

I am currently hoping to expand on that without going into ridiculous 
detail.
If you do not know, I had a vehicle accident recently.  Mental deficiencies 
obvious to most have become more apparent to a larger group of people as a 
result.  However, I did want to take some time to say thanks to Frank and to 
other FREINDS who have helped me to stay "sane". Thanks to Frank and other 
birding FRIENDS, I am rapidly beomming my old self.
I will be back online as soon as possible. In the meantime, I appreciate all 
thoughts, prayers, and similar.

I just talked on the phone with Mark's son. He says  that Mark is now able 
to
stand and walk a little with assistance. Some standing and walking is a 
whole
lot more than none.
