I was returning from Paducah this evening at about 6:30 near the Smithland exit
on eastbound I-24 when a scissor-tailed flycatcher flew across the highway in
front of me. Although I have never seen one in real life before, I had read
about the one sighted in Murray recently, and I can't think of any thing else
with that incredible tail in the area. Susan Neace, Central City, KY
