This morning while reading the newspaper and drinking my coffee out on the 
patio I heard the song of a black-and-white warbler. Quickly grabbing our 
binoculars Pat and  I discovered a nice male in the nearby locust tree. I was 
surprised to see one at this time of the summer in our backyard, but what a 
special treat it was to both see and hear a warber, one of my favorite group 
of birds.
