Possible Blue Goose at Ash Pond today. It was mixed in with a large flock of
Canada Geese. I didn't see it on the first go around but it then raised it's
white head and moved out away from the flock a bit. Orange/pinkish legs, white
head w/ dark on the back of it's head, and whiteish spotting on the wings, It
was roughly half the size of the Canada Geese shorter and more robust.
Other things of intrest there were..
Great Blue Herons
Killdeer Chicks
Unidentified Peeps
Red Wing Blackbird nest w/ eggs
Take care,
Ed Richards ( boyle county)
