Tom Durbin called and reported 3 Black-necked Stilts
at McElroy Lake in Warren County this afternoon. Other
birds reported by Tom were 2 dowitchers, a yellowlegs,
lots of Semipalmated Sandpipers and Plovers, and a few
White-rumped Sandpipers.
The lake is dropping quickly and probably has just a
few days remaining without substantial rainfall.
