I birded Cape Hills Unit, 268 slough, Hardy Slough.
At Hardy Slough I ran into David Roemer. We birded then at Pond Creek  
Marsh, 268 slough, Uniontown Mt. Vernon Road slough, Horseshoe Road  
slough.
Then I went home for guests while David continued.

David Roemer and I saw the Glossy Ibis at Hardy Slough this morning.
David says it is a different one from the one he saw before.
The earlier one had an infection near the eye.

We parked at the Observation Tower with the parking area. Then walked  
out the first dike that is perpendicular to 268.
The Ibis was about 100 yards down the dike and on the east side.  
David waded out in an attempt to get pictures but it flew south
and went down behind a further dike.

Other highlights:

Blue-winged Teal several locations
Shoveler pair at  UtMtVn Road
Osprey: I watched it cruise over 268 slough and dive and snatch a  
small fish
Common Moorhen heard at Pond Creek Marsh

Stilt Sandpipers 2 at Honey Cypress Slough (Union Co.)
Caspian Tern over Ohio River

Cape Hills)
