[birdky] Bobolink, etc.

I saw and heard the banjo sounding song of a male Bobolink in my red clover
this morning. There must be others nearby, but I only saw one.
A Red-headed Woodpecker has been visiting our feeder lately, along with
several RBGs (notice I abbreviated to reduce RBG envy among the less
fortunate).
I don't know where the 4 little goslings went. I haven't seen them or either
parent since the morning I noticed that they had hatched. I do know from empty
shells that 4 was the full brood. Two unhatched eggs were left in the nest. I
suspect that they might be foraging in the hay field which begins a few paces
up hill from the pond, unless a snapping turtle ate them all for supper.
