[birdky] Barred Owl

Yesterday morning, as my nephew and I were returning from beyond Barren
Plains, TN, each pulling a twenty foot trailer loaded with tobacco plants, I
noticed a fairly large raptor rise up from just off the right-of-way ahead of
the lead truck and perch in a tree overhanging the road. We were proceeding
pretty slowly anyway, so I stopped my truck just under the tree to try to see
what it was. As I leaned toward the windshield and craned my neck upward I
could see that it was an owl, but was looking straight up its tail feathers.
Fortunately, at the same time, it was craning its neck downward to look at me,
and I could see that it was a Barred Owl.
