Title: Berea Woods 5/1, some new birds
When I got up this morning and heard a hooded warbler in my backyard (a very unlikely place for one), I figured today might be active and headed to Berea--where it was pretty good but not great.
I saw these, first of the spring for me: BLACK-BILLED CUCKOO, GRAY-CHEEKED Thrush, Tennessee Warbler (several making a big racket), and an Orchard Oriole. 16 warbler species in all.
