 Somerset Swainson's Sojourn, May 7



The morning outing to Bee Rock, where we walked a = trail along the
Rockcastle River, was very successful, couldn't have = been nicer re weather
and companionship. We saw and heard several = Swainson's warblers. One great
view involved a SW flying all around us, = like an upset Car. Wren. Later we
heard its lovely song from a few = others. Heck, we had so much success with
the Swainson's, it started = seeming like a junk bird and we swore we hoped
we'd never see another of = them again! (Kidding.) Other highlights were 2
YBCuckoos and 2 L. = Waterthrushes.
