  There have been one or (once) two male rose breasted grossbeaks at the seed 
feeders since Saturday.   I haven't seen any females yet at all.  I have heard 
but not seen a wood thrush, catbird and great crested flycatcher.  A sole white 
crowned sparrow was at the feeder at dusk Wednesday.  I have had one male 
Indigo bunting, probably a juvenile as he still had some brown patches.  No 
Ivory Billed Woodpeckers yet, although my sister Debbie at the Buckley Wildlife 
Sanctuary tells me that she has had a number of reports of sightings from 
determined persons on their sanctuary phone line.   Having had more than my 
share of round the clock runaway bride, Michael Jackson, Tom Delay, filibuster 
coverage, I was sorely disapointed not to have at least some followup in the 
national news media of the story I want to hear more about.  It would be nice 
if there was some current event science report on at least a weekly basis 
somewhere.  Bruce Springsteen was right - 57 channels and there's nothing on.
