Mark reminded me that I left out probably our best bird of the day on
Tuesday, an adult Laughing Gull at the Falls of the Ohio. Other waterbirds
there included a couple of Spotted Spipers, 10-15 Semi Spipers, 15 Semi
Plovers, 2 Caspian Terns and about a half-dozen beautiful [not . . . the
Laugher in fine plumage made these guys look pretty trashy] Ring-billed
Gulls.
