A resident of Woodbine Drive, Lexington KY has let me know that
Yellow-crowned Night-heron are also residents of the same one block
street. I have seen them also. The street is a heavily shaded street
(pin oak). The nest are directly over the center of the street in the
branches underneath the canopy. I do not believe there to be any young
as of yet. 2 nest are in use that I know of.
