The Pulaski County Spring Migration Count was held Saturday May 8. Highlights 
of the count were Wilson's Snipe, Bonaparte's Gull, Willow Flycatcher, 
Loggerhead Shrike, Bank Swallow, Veery,  and 23 warbler species.  We found good 
numbers of breeding birds with high spring counts for many species. Prairie 
Warblers seemed particularly well represented with  121 recorded.
121 species and 7150 individual birds were counted, plus a freshly dead (ran 
over) Am. Woodcock with an egg shell found by Scott Marsh.
