[birdky] Painted B. & others

We had great scope views of the Painted Bunting today (Sunday) which is still
on territory and singing. While waiting for it to appear, we observed a L.
Shrike, a MS Kite, and a Ruby-throated Hummer w/orange colored throat! Is
this as unusual as I think it is? All other markings are like a Rubythroat.
It was a gray day but I still expected a true red.
On the way home, we spent time looking for the Scissor-tailed Flycatchers
near LBL but there was no sign of them or their nest. There was a terrible
hail storm in that area earlier in the day (just before we drove through on
our way west) leaving 2-3 inches of golf ball size hail on the highway. A
strange weather day w/temps from 50 to 78, plus rain, hail, and lots of wind!
