Ben,

Don't be so hard on yourself.  It is difficult to make
a retraction, and embarrassing, I've had to do it too.
 It's harder to retract a record than to just leave
it, but that's where integrity comes into play.  I
admire you for it, and so will everyone else.

Please don't wait to report a rarity.  None of us
would have seen an Inca Dove in Kentucky if not for
you.  I haven't lost any faith in you, just gained a
little more respect.
